I’m Bill Golden, aka William Golden, a Prince William County resident since 1995.
After retiring from the U.S. Army in 1996 I decided to stay and to make Dale City and Woodbridge my home … although if truth be fully known I live just three blocks from the Manassas boundary line, at least as the post office sees things.
By day, my job is as CEO, IntelligenceCareers.com. Visit the website and you’ll see that my business is exactly what the name implies.
Other folks know me as CEO, USAJobZoo.com — and some folks know me as Bill4DogCatcher, my other alias beside also being a blogger for PrinceWilliamLife.com.

Many others know me in the community as ‘coach’ as I have coached soccer in Prince William PWSI.org since 1999; with a truckload of trophies to show for all the fun.
Some background: born in Norfolk, Virginia. Education: a double BA from the University of Maryland and an MPA from the University of Oklahoma. Military service: U.S. army from 1974-1996 with extensive service in Asia and Europe. My training includes the ability to order a cheeseburger and a beer in five languages, make coffee any time of the day and the rest of my life is mostly a secret until 75 years past my natural death … or so sez the government.
Politically I am an ‘independent’ conservative with strong libertarian leanings. Independent means just that: I vote for whomever I consider to be the best candidate — although when in doubt I probably do vote Republican more often than not. That is just truth-in-advertising.
However, am not a closet Republican: have voted for Democratic candidates for senate, governor, state delegate and as my congressional representative. I love a party but don’t vote for any party line.
